Holistic Education

_Holistic Education_ *
"The essence of education is to add value to the society."* now that's not
empty rhetoric.
When I was In School I really could not make out why was I being taught
things, more than learning I was puzzled about what is being taught and
why should I learn those thing and how are they going to help me anyway?
I was told that I am learning these stuffs, cus I have to pass the exams
at the end of the session and that I am suppose to get more marks than
fellow students, that it! That reminds me of a famous quote that I came
across later-on *"I was born intelligent but education ruined me."*
College Days were far more confusing and way beyond my comprehension so
I quit. Later when I came to the work place employer were just asking
for qualification. What does qualification means, by any way.......
Then slowly I realized that the education system itself was not
holistic. Class X marks, Class XII Marks or even the graduation degree
doesn't decides what you will do in life. Here I would like to share a
mind-map with the concept of holistic education where *qualification
counts last and virtues count first.*
